the winter in canada are a storm, delivering moments of elemental fury between periods of calm textures in their music. During their live sets, the band administers a raucous alternative rock and roll punk show through waves of guitars and drums.
Originally conceived of as a home recording project by the group’s founder Mark Deen in Toronto in 2015, the band fully formed in late 2018 when Mark moved to the Kingston area. With the addition of Eric Valdez on drums and Steven Stevens on bass, the winter in canada made their live debut in February 2019.
